Just wanted to make a small announcement that I've released a few Obscurity chapters recently. One's a new anthology short, and probably the last one for a while, as well as the first chapter in the second book, Obscurity Love Life. I'd recommend reading the first book (which is right here) if you haven't already since it's kind of important to understanding the overarching story.

Hey, happy New Years guys. It's been a pretty quite year for me, despite (desperately attempting to do some) releasing of a few series that I hope to work on for a long while. Namely, the first couple chapters of my comic Ultralius were (hastily) put onto Webtoon alongside my first book/volume of Obscurity released on Tapas.

Combining the two ideas together, I figured I would also release Ultralius on Tapas as well, just so that all of my projects can be together in one place. The chapters there will be weekly on a Saturday, with the first one having been released last year. So far, production should see that the first ten chapters can get finished by the end of Spring, assuming all goes well. (My ass was supposed to work on and release them last year, but things didn't go too well to plan.)

Anyway, that year in review has taught me a very valuable lesson; Shit be hard. It took me so long to try and focus all for my energy on my projects that I eventually procrastinated on all of my stuff. Obscurity was supposed to be a comic that I eventually turned into a book just so I could get the story out by the end of the year, Ultralius was supposed to be completed by Christmas (which will make sense after reading the story properly), and even a stupid little comic that was supposed to be made is still only on page 11 of 42! And it's just a little comic about stick figures, too! This is all without mentioning the shit I didn't do for Newgrounds... All the art I haven't scanned and published, all of the missed events...

I know everyone everywhere probably says this every year, but I want to try and be better. 2022 wasn't the year I thought it would be, especially with how bad the last two were for everyone probably. But this year, I'm gonna try to change my outlook on my own work to better accomplish my goals. A few of which I'll make a list of now.

-The second book for Obscurity. Over the next few months, I want to post chapters of this new Obscurity adventure I've been working up since I finished the last one.

-Successfully release the first 20 Ultralius chapters. Hopefully, I can make it through to the end of summer this year and release those bad boys. Of course, I gotta release the rest of volume one (Chapters 1-10), but until then, I can dream about doing that.

-Get at least ten pieces specifically for Newgrounds. Yeah, I'm gonna try to pay attention to this website more because I really like it here. All of the people I follow and that follow me, the atmosphere, the content. Everything here's amazing.

Anyway, I hope you all have an amazing year. Who knows, maybe I'll post something soon.

Ah shit, I meant to post a little sketch piece last year...

Hey guys. I just wanted to let you know that for the days leading up to Christmas, I'll be posting a special something for Obscurity over on Tapas. Featured in the Anthology series, you can find the start of the new story here I released earlier today!

Anyway, so yeah, it's been a bit, huh? I've been kinda busy with other obligations, including, as the last post mentioned, a book, but I'm hoping to be more active here and make more art while writing a few more stories (he said, lying to himself.) I'll hopefully be back with some art maybe for the Hallow's Eve, more character art (?) and the ability to be more open on projects here. I'll still have a busy schedule to work with, but I want to make time to contribute to this website for the first time in a... how long's it been?

Ah geez...

Well, I guess that's some time. I guess I should say that, since my unchecked hiatus, I've been able to catch up on a few shows and movies and such. Went to the beach (different one from last year) and expanded my comic collection. Fell back on my Chainsaw Man addiction a bit, finally continued reading a book I forgot had some really neat writing, got kinda sad, played Animal Crossing for the first time in 7 months, the usual really. It's been a mix of stress and good feelings.

Now, I've still been on NG, just not really... posting anything. At least until the holidays, I'll try to work on my NG portfolio and do a bit of art here and there (I got some ideas and pieces I might already want to post, so that should be fun), and despite a lack of general drawing for... like a month or two, I'd say I've improved my craft a bit on smaller pieces. I should probably make plans to scan old pictures as well if they aren't crumpled beyond repair.

I'm mostly excited to finally showcase one of my character's stories in a way that works and makes me happy (very hard for me to do btw.) There's definitely more where that came from for the future, as I already have plans and ideas for the next few novels I want to publish. (And for the people that know, I'm finally ironing out plans to wrap up some Ultralius stuff by Christmas, so stay tuned if you are.)

HOLY SHIT, GUYS, IT'S FINALLY HAPPENING, WOAH, STAY CALM, SETTLE DOWN!

Finally, after all of this time, I can finally share with you the... story I guess, of Obscurity. It has taken me way too long to get shit like comic work done, but over the last... month or three, I summoned up my courage and pulled my ass together to finally put this down on pixelated paper! Over the course of the day, I'll be sectioning off the book by fours, meaning that the first four chapters area already up and will be published... hourly? IDK, I gotta go to the doctor in a bit, but yeah. It's not a long book I'd say, maybe a day-read for people that read fast. But for now, there's a bit of what's to come in this link right here.

It's my Newgrounds-versary, bitches!

That's right, baby! It's that time of the year! It's been a whole time around the sun since I've joined Newgrounds and I gotta say, I've really liked it here. The community is nice, the atmosphere is chill(-ish), and the place smells like burnt toast. I don't know what NG smells like, but I'll take that wild guess. Overall this year's been kind iffy for me personally. I just got out of a hit of Covid which was my first time actually having it. Nothing too bad, but I limited myself from drawing because of it, so I'm a bit rusty. And things haven't been going as planned for this year...

But hey, now that I'm not sick, I can actually focus on the things I want to. Hopefully by the end of summer, I can get my ass and act together in just the time of July. I got big plans and such, so I hope that I can see those in the coming... times...

You know, I'm gonna be honest. This is technically my first Pico Day and it doesn't even feel like it. It's probably the fact that it was moved or that I've had so much stuff to do, but it just doesn't feel like it. Either way, I tried to make something a little late, but it's Pico Day somewhere!

I don't know, I thought I was in on stuff for a week now, but then I got work and I've been trying to write stuff. Not... so much luck on the drawing of stuff, but oh well... I've just been tired and busy, imagine that. But yeah, I have been trying to do things, just need to... try to maintain those things...

I need a better computer...

Anyway, happy Pico Day.

So some cool birthdays have been brought to my attention. Probably the most notable one for me at the moment is my buddy ind- er... @toxicbutterfly, who's birthday is May 1st (which for me is today). So I thought I'd bust out Krita and use it to try and make a gift. This'll count as like, my 3rd or 4th time using it, so I'm not doing too good w/ it on this computer. I might try to clean it up and practice a bit more, add some neat effects, possibly uploading it as an art submission after. But either, happy birthday @toxicbutterfly. Hope it's been a good one.

Oh yeah, also Tom Fulps borthday was like, yesterday for the two people that didn't know.

Holy SHIT! God, what a hell of a month! It's just been so bitchin', it hurts. I haven't been able to focus on the things I want to do thanks to a ton of different reasons. The worst part was that my main PC was acting up and completely just goin' all wacky, not to mention it apparently snows in APRIL?! Come on, that's the shower time, which we've also been getting. Anyway, after a day of relaxation and seeing Morbius with the homies (it was ass btw, like really), I come home to find my computer reset (or turned off, I don't remember the 8th after the movie) and my account reset! Everything looked wiped and oh so blue (the Windows 10 blue, not death blue).

Thankfully, not all of my files were gone. They were all still under my account, it just took a bit to find. I gathered my important files and dragged them on the computer I'm using now, Itibititoshibi. I've been able to put most of the data on a flash drive, but I don't know how long that'll last. I don't even know when I can even fix my computer, or how. So I have a feeling it'll be a bit before I can make my damn comics (digitally). In the meantime, I'm gonna be making my paper drafts so that when I DO come back, I can draw (somehow). So yeah, I have stuff I got to do, on top of other things.

TL;DR-I'm dying, but it's getting better.
