Hope it's okay to get a little deep here ...
It was this time last year that I was the most prone to the darkness of my own mind, and I almost made some terrible choices to try and stop the hurt I felt. I was so fortunate to have found in my art an outlet that really unclogged my soul and left me in a slowly better place. I am excited to be here on NG now, and that I've only met kindness since I started to come out of my shell and started posting. I hope you have a happy birthday, and that you find something more than you could have expected or hoped for in the search. I hope more than anything you can find love in community, as the light of the mind alone cannot burn away all darkness.

Also, I get that. The Newgrounds community has been pleasant, and I've made a few friends along the way. The first day I got here, I met someone very sweet and helpful, making this feel like home and serving as an inspiration for my work/style/motivation.
